Happy Birthday to Latham!!

I saw the love of my life in August of 2008. I didn't know he would be the love of my life, and, to be honest, after he left the party where we met, I couldn't remember if he was good-looking or REALLY good-looking (and his shadowy facebook profile pic made it extra hard to tell). Luckily, he was REALLY good looking!  :)

But on April 8, 2012, I met the other love of my life. As soon as I had felt those baby-flutters back in November of 2011, I knew he would be the next love of my life. And I haven't been disappointed! Plus, he's also REALLY good-looking!

Latham is amazing. I know I'm biased, but I don't care. He's the most perfect little human being in the world. He still hasn't slept through a whole night (but he has been getting better); he used to be an amazing eater (but now he's getting pickier); he crawls like a madman (but still hasn't taken that elusive first step on his own); he smiles for the camera (like mom); he thinks farts are funny (like dad); giggles and laughs so wonderfully; splashes like a wildman in the tub; he plays well with Oliver and with his friends; he loves to explore; he has fun chit-chatting and singing.

I can't wait to see what this next year will bring, but, for now, I'm just cherishing the fact that WE MADE IT ONE YEAR!! And my man is healthy, happy, and just as perfect as I could have imagined.
